Dear Visitors:

Welcome to the Newport-Irvine Rotary Club!! Founded in 1967, the Newport-Irvine club has over 70 members dedicated to an array of service activities in the local communities as well as abroad. This year, due to the serious financial downturn in the economy, our members are primarily focused on helping the needy. We are proud to have the opportunity to offer scholarships and career guidance to needy youths as well as to provide books to our local schools. We are also involved in sponsoring the largest high school cross-country running event in the country. Additional outreach activities include actively collaborating with our sister club in Ensenada in helping their local schools, leading in the Snowball Express effort for the benefit of our troop’s families, and donating wheelchairs in Zambia. In addition to the satisfaction received by providing the hands-on work and much needed resources, our members also enjoy themselves and have lots of fun! Our meetings are sparked by entertaining programs, camaraderie, and good food!
